As the strike by workers at Infinity Rubber enters its second week, solidarity has been building on the picket line. The workers – members of United Steelworkers Local 526 – face a union-busting effort by a greedy employer. If workers say no to concessions, if the union files a grievance, it seems the answer to everything by Infinity Rubber management is "if you don't like it we'll shut the plant down". Enough is enough. If the boss is a Grinch, we here in Whoville need to pull together and support these strikers.
Join the solidarity picket on Friday December 18th, from 6 am to 8 am at 170 North Queen Street, Toronto. From the QEW: take exit 139, Sherway Gardens - head north, take the first left onto The Queensway, then the first right up North Queen Street.
By bus: take the 123A or 123C from Kipling Station, stop just past the Walmart on North Queen Street.
